Churros

Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 4 oz Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cup Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Cinnamon Sugar Mix

Steps

  1. Combine water, butter, salt, and cinnamon. Bring to a rolling boil
  2. Add flour, reduce to low heat
  3. Stir vigorously until mix forms a ball. Remove from heat and rest 5-7 minutes
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring until each is combined.
  5. Heat oil in skillet to 350°, then stir
  6. Spoon rested dough into a piping bag, then squeeze into oil at your desired length
  7. Fry dough until golden brown, then remove from oil and drain on a paper towel
  8. Coat churros in cinnamon/sugar mix. Serve as-is or with a dipping sauce
