Churros
Ingredients
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Water
- 4 oz Butter
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cup Flour
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 Cinnamon Sugar Mix
Steps
- Combine water, butter, salt, and cinnamon. Bring to a rolling boil
- Add flour, reduce to low heat
- Stir vigorously until mix forms a ball. Remove from heat and rest 5-7 minutes
- Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring until each is combined.
- Heat oil in skillet to 350°, then stir
- Spoon rested dough into a piping bag, then squeeze into oil at your desired length
- Fry dough until golden brown, then remove from oil and drain on a paper towel
- Coat churros in cinnamon/sugar mix. Serve as-is or with a dipping sauce
