Scott's Dutch Oven Potatoes
Ingredients
- Thinly sliced potatoes (enough to fill dutch oven)
- 1 lb. backon, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup butter
Steps
- Cut bacon into small chunks and fry in the bottom of the dutch oven. Pour grease off and add butter to bottom of the oven
- Add the potatoes and as many onions as you like. Salt and pepper to taste
- Cook over a low heat, stirring occasionally, while potatoes are still firm. Cook until potatoes are done, about 45 minutes to an hour.
