Lasagna
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Tbsp Chopped Parsley
- 1 Tbsp Basil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 can(s) Diced Tomatoes (1 lb)
- 1 can(s) Tomato Paste (12 oz)
- 1 pkg Lasagna Noodles
- 1 Cottage Cheese (small curd) (Large Container)
- 2 Eggs (separated)
- 1 tsp Salt (for meat mixture)
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 2 Tbsp Dried Parsley Flakes
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- 1 lb Mozarella Cheese
Steps
- Pre-heat oven to 375°. Cook noodles in a large pot of water. Rinse off noodles with cold water when done.
- Brown meat slowly and drain off excess fat.
- Add chopped parsley, basil, salt, tomatoes, and tomato paste to meat. Simmer.
- In separate bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley and parmesan cheese.
- Place half of the noodles in a baking dish, then spread half of the cottage cheese mixture over it.
- Add mozarella cheese and then a layer of the meat mixture.
- Repeat steps 6 and 7.
- Place top layer of noodles and finish with a layer of mozarella cheese.
- Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
