Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Cup Butter softened
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream Room temp
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 4 1/2 cup Flour

Steps

  1. Mix sugar, butter, sour cream and egg in a large bowl until smooth
  2. Add in baking soda, vanilla, salt and flour and continue mixing.
  3. Refridgerate dough for at least 2 hours.
  4. Sprinkle flour onto a large, flat surface (counter-top) and roll out dough until about 1/8 inch thick.
  5. Cut out dough into desired shapes and place on a un-greased cookie sheet
  6. Bake at 425° for 5-7 minutes, or until bottom is a light-golden color. Let rest for a few minutes before moving to cooling rack.
